Crystal Morris was born July 19th, 1982 to Johnny and Stella Crum. She was born and raised in Birmingham, Alabama. She has one older sibling.
Crystal began to realize her gift of singing at the age 5. She began using her gift in choir from elementary throughout high school where she was also active in church and surrounding choirs in her area such as P.I.N.G., Woodlawn High School Choir, she was also a part of the Allstate Choir Festival her junior and senior year of high school. While in P.I.N.G. she along with others had the opportunity to sing with well‐known artist Stevie Wonder.
Crystal’s passion for gospel music was inspired by many but just to name a few, Kirk Franklin and the Family, The Clark Sisters, Martha Munizzi, Kim Burrell, William Murphy, Tasha Cobbs & Kierra Sheard. Throughout the years Crystal has been highly involved with ministry and leading praise and worship at several churches from time to time. She currently sings on the praise and worship team at Love Fellowship Christian Center where she serves under the leadership of Pastor Rodney Stand field and First Lady Telayo Standfield.
In 2015 Crystal realized that she needed to truly pursue her purpose and live out the life God called her to. She started writing and soon began recording. There are great things on the horizon for Crystal Morris.
