Sharon Moore, affectionately known to most as “Bunnie”, began singing at the impressionable age of five years old at Church of the Living God pastored by her father; the late Reverend W. L. Moore. Sharon released Her first CD, titled, “Glory To Your Name.” “Glory To Your Name” will capture your heart, take you to church and usher you into the presence of God through Praise and Worship. Sharon’s mission statement is “I preach the Word through my singing!” Sharon’s first CD, was nominated for the Rhythm of Gospel Independent Artist Awards in 4 Categories. Sharon released her 2nd CD, titled, “The Power, The Blood, The Word, The Name……JESUS!” The songs truly express Sharon’s heart to God through Praise and Thanksgiving!
This album has recently been nominated for Female Artist Of The Year with The Kingdom Image Awards. With a soaring combination of craft and compassion, Sharon has touched the hearts of many. She sends a message of hope and redemption about a love that only Jesus Christ can give. Sharon is an ordained minister of the gospel who graduated Salutatorian of her class. She was involved in Prison Outreach Ministry for better than 25 years. Sharon is also a member of Living Water Fellowship Church in Indianapolis, IN, pastored by Kim and Steve Outlaw. Sharon was also featured in an issue of “Life Lessons Magazine” which is a quarterly issued Upscale Magazine distributed in High End Hotels and Airplanes. Sharon performed at the Bobby Jones Gospel Retreat, which aired on the Word Network and on the Local Trinity Broadcasting Network several times.
A memorable performance for Sharon is when she sung the National Anthem for Indiana Black Expo the year George W. Bush was keynote speaker. Sharon has been one of the headline singers for the Musical Tribute to Mahalia Jackson at the Walker Theatre in Indianapolis, IN. She also performed for the Indianapolis Prayer Breakfast in 2012 and for the Tri-Med Corporation Prayer Breakfast. Sharon has had the opportunity to cross the stage with several national recording artist such as Rodnie Bryant, Fred Hammond, Marvin Winans, Bishop Paul Morton, Dorinda Clark-Cole, Andre Crouch, and Tonya Baker just to name a few. Sharon is the proud mother to son, Reginald and 2 grandsons; Reginald Jr. and Jeremiah.
